Yesterday, we threw Andrea a baby shower. That was a Kinetic first and judging by the mother-to-be’s reaction, it was a success. We were missing a few members of the Kinetic family – 2 on the road and 1 home sick — but they were with us in spirit.

Andrea works in our accounting department and is expecting a boy in late April. All of us here at Kinetic are super excited and happy for her and her husband.

We presented Andrea with gifts, had lots of food and dessert, balloons. Erick, our senior technician, played a mixtape by yours truly. And to make things even more fun and festive, the only we know how, we set up lighting. Mac 301s and Source Four Ellipsoidals, to be exact. We decided to keep the Source Fours up (they’re projecting really nice patterns on the shop wall.)

There doesn’t appear to be any other baby-shower-needs here at the office anytime soon. But should that change, we’re at the ready (with practice under our belt).
